Arthur Leighton Truesdell Jr. was the ninth born to Charlotte and Arthur.
Arthur married Ruth Andersen, who died in 1964. They had three children together, residing in Holden, MA.
In 1965, Arthur married Shirley Hamilton Putnam in Manchester, CT. Arthur gained three step-children from this marriage.
