Samuel Wheaton Truesdell, named after the first ancestor to emigrate to America, was the fifth born of Charlotte and Arthur. He was the first child born in Leverett, commemorating the family’s new chapter in a new town.
Sam married Lucie Avery Gaglbraith in 1931. They had two children.
In 1993, he married Mildred Baldwin, known as “Millie”. Sam settled in Wallingford, CT.
